  • Designed and built on a hand-shaped, downturned last by Fred Nicole, ROAM Soft is a soft slipper (no midsole) developed with Jason Momoa as part of the So iLL x On The Roam collection. ROAM Soft features a three-way stretch knit entry with an elastic band stitched to a durable, comfortable, unlined vegan microsuede upper. This shoe is tensioned from under the toe to the back of the heel while the laser etched rand generates tension as well. The outsole is split and outfitted with Vibram XS Grip Rubber which extends in a wide band to the top of the heel. ROAM Soft is ideal for aggressive overhanging bouldering or sport climbing where toe power and sensitivity are crucial. The combination of a soft toe box combined with a split outsole allows for precision placement and power transfer on small foot holds and pockets. The heel hooking capabilities of this shoe are unmatched, which presents climbers with a slipper style shoe like no other currently available on the market - essentially a talon (in shoe form) for the human foot.

Solid Slipper

Was looking to find a show I can wear 90% of the time when setting and forerunning, that would be easy on and off, comfortable, and have the performance to test as many boulders as possible. So far it has met all of those needs, and I have chosen to wear it for full training sessions. Really pleased with it!

Incredible Comfort

I sized mine to the beginner / comfort side of the scale. I wanted a shoe I could wear all day and have absolute comfort with no pressure on my feet, and total flexibility for my foot on the wall. These feel like wearing rubber socks in the best way possible! So comfortable, I’m climbing longer days because of them.

Most comfortable slipper I’ve ever climbed it

These things are fantastic! They are comfortable but don’t sacrifice performance. I feel confident heel-hooking. I did have to size down one half size compared to other so ill shoes. But these are great!

So much comfort plus performance

I’m surprised such a comfortable shoe performs so well. I love the vibram XS, sticky but lasts a while. I bought several pairs, but the first pair has lasted a lot longer than I expected it to. Couldn’t be happier.

What a nice surprise !

I was at an IFSC world cup in Bern (CH) and I came across their stand. Best surprise of the day, these shoes are so comfy and great. I took my regular size and I can keep them on a very long time. They didn't even hurt the first time I've put them on. Great heel hook, I feel confident with them and they look amazing. I can only recommend them! They're a definite keeper.
